Accommodation
Comprises 13 Breeze bungalows and one luxury Sea Front villa all authentically Zanzibar and decorated with an eye for detail. Open walls provide cooling sea breezes and there is oodles of personal space for privacy and those special intimate moments.
Guests are guaranteed leisure, peace and relaxation as electronic equipment is absent.
The relaxed and well thought out architecture of these very private facilities is characterized by sheer elegance and typical island style. Traditional, open, white brickwork is covered by Makuti roofs made of dried palm leaves.

The restaurant has employed two chefs who are used to cooking at a high level of expertise and they know how to combine the best that the sea has to offer with exotic fruits and the flavors of the spice Island, they certainly know how to create the ultimate taste experience.

Baharini Villas is situated in Matemwe on the North East of Zanzibar Island and located directly on the beach.
Overview
Baharini Villas are also only a 20 minute boat journey from the Mnemba Atoll, which is a protected Marine Park home to hundreds of varieties of tropical fish living in the reef and offering the best snorkeling and diving in Zanzibar.

Accommodation
Baharini Villas comfort rooms are composed of just 3 traditional Makuti thatched bungalows that are each split into two rooms giving the resort a total of 6 double or twin rooms – triple rooms are also available on request. One of the bungalows features an inter-connecting door creating a family bungalow, and also ideal for groups.
All rooms at Baharini Villas are 35 square meters and are en-suite with showers.
The family room is 40 square meters and can accommodate 2 adults and up to 3 children. It has a queen size bed and 2 single beds (third single bed is on request) and the room features an en-suite bathroom, mosquito nets, ceiling fan, air conditioning and outside loungers.
The family villa has 2 spacious rooms, each 60 meters squared with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are situated on the first floor with a private balcony over-looking the ocean. This room features a queen-size bed with mosquito net canopy, a king size bed with mosquito net, ceiling fan, air conditioning and outside loungers.
Facilities
Baharini Villas has a lovely swimming pool offering stunning sea views over the Indian Ocean.
There is also a Makuti thatched restaurant / bar offering views over the sea on one side and overlooking the swimming pool on the other. The chefs at this resort have been trained by an Italian professional chef and serve a mixture of good quality food ranging from Italian cuisine to more traditional local dishes.
There is also a daily menu board displaying the fresh catch of the day for guests to choose from.
Other activities
The resort will be able to book various activities, whether it’s a Dhow cruise, diving trip or island tours, all you have to do is enquire at reception and they will be able to help.

If you are looking for an affordable option, then this is definitely a resort to consider. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard, the food is good and the staffs are extremely friendly. We would recommend this hotel to families in search of a reasonably priced beach holiday as there is direct access to the beach and a swimming pool to cool down in.
