Nestling amongst the baobab trees in Tarangire National Park, the lodge features of the main areas include marble floors, fountains and waterfalls, with magnificent views through double-storey windows.

The lodge can accommodate 160 guests in 75 suites, each enjoying wall-to-wall carpeting, a private lounge with a mini bar, a bedroom with two queen size beds and ample room for a third, an en-suite bathroom with shaver sockets and a hair dryer, and a private verandah which offers stunning views over the baobab studded landscape.

The Lodge has a swimming pool. The lodge has direct-dial satelite telephone facilities as well as satellite television and wildlife-video-film options. A number of lodge electrical generating systems provide 240volts, 50 cycles 24 hours a day. Our water supply comes from nearby springs but guests are advised not to drink from the taps. Instead, complimentary bottled mineral water is provided in the mini bars while further stocks are available for sale in the main bar. We welcome kids of all ages and can provide both special meals at convenient times and baby sitters on request. The Guest Shop stocks a wide selection of curios, gift items, clothing, film, sweets, postcards, personal requisites and toiletries. The unique swimming pool which is located at the edge of a rocky gorge has its own bar and snack kitchen and offers a refreshing interlude between game drives. We can supply diesel and can carry out most minor repairs.
Tarangire Treetops is situated in Tarangire Conservation Area, a wildlife management area of 57,000 acres, just outside Tarangire National Park. This location allows the lodge to offer activities such as foot safaris, night game drives and mountain biking that cannot, by law, be conducted inside the National Parks. Tarangire Treetops has 20 en suite tree house units each with a private verandah, restaurant and a bar, and a swimming pool overlooking the elephant watering hole far below.
