Dar es salaam City Sightseeing Tour with Bagamoyo Historical sites tour

Discover the highlights of the city of Dar es Salaam, with the morning dedicated to showing you the cultural and historical contrasts of this city. Travel along the beachfront towards the harbor entrance where you can see anything from Swahili local ladies walking on the sand to traditional dhows of fisherman collecting some fishes to use for selling to the town’s market areas.

Continue past Dar es Salaam City and Ubungo Complex to Bagamoyo Village, where you can get a taste of Swahili culture. Enjoy the scents of spices and see the hawkers and herbalists ply their trades.

The tour then heads off to Bagamoyo’s newest attraction: Bagamoyo Dhow sailboat Building, to discover the true nature and origin of Swahili Dhows.

Afterwards enjoy a guided tour of this Tanzanian Historical Town where Arabs and Oman’s used to sail their traditional dhows searching for and buying slaves for domestic purpose in Asia and Mauritius.

Incorporating fresh and sea water, lush vegetation, natural materials and the recreation of a millions of marine life species, Bagamoyo Marine Center had created a magical world of sea and marine life.
