Ring in 2013 with your kids on this New Year’s Eve family cruise in Zanzibar Stone Town City. Your evening begins as you depart from Stone Town and glide through the harbor, taking in the Stone Town skyline from either inside the climate-controlled boat or upstairs deck. Your kids will be happily entertained during the evening with Nightlife games, noise makers and party favors.

Snacks and refreshments are included – light sandwiches are available for adults, and kids can enjoy chicken tenders and omelets & cheese. There will also be plenty of sweets and treats for all. Ice-cream and soft drinks are complimentary, and beer and wine are available from the cash bar.

When the clock strikes midnight, watch as the Zanzibar Stone Town fireworks show erupts over the House of Wonder and Serena Inn Hotel. You can also celebrate by watching the full moon and falling stars.

• We had a lovely time on the dinner cruise. The food was delicious and the fireworks were such a pleasure to watch from the dhow. Also, the weather was rather pleasant. We would have liked to see a little bit more decorations on the inside of the boat. Let us know if you have any more trips like this one.
