This private car has manual gears so if you’re the nominated driver, you’ll need to be confident using them. Once you’re ready, drive on the road behind your guide into Zanzibar’s beautiful Villages.

Trace the peaceful roads across Matemwe landscapes, passing rice plantation, Sugarcane fields and Kandwi villages. Make regular photo stops and after roughly two hours, pull up at an elegant country villa. Leave your car and relax in the gorgeous surroundings. Stroll through the exquisite gardens and feel free to take a swim or laze beside the outdoor swimming pool.
